ACB Bank states that the early withdrawal penalty for all of its CDs is 2.5% of the principal balance in the account. Its page lists several terms from 91 days through five years and describes a 10-day grace period for automatically renewing certificates.

This is a percentage-of-principal penalty, not a number of months of interest. It refers to the principal balance in the account rather than expressly limiting the charge to the amount withdrawn. The public calculator’s interest-period choices do not reproduce this structure; use the account disclosure and a bank quote.
