Published terms reviewed; calculation inputs still required

We have reviewed the published terms below. They do not establish every detail needed for a bank-specific dollar calculation, so the estimator requires your own agreement inputs. We do not fill those gaps with assumptions.

What the published disclosure says

Certificates of deposit — early redemption policy

Bank of Brewton requires approval for redemption before maturity. Its disclosure specifies at least three months of interest on withdrawn funds for an original maturity from 32 days to less than one year, and at least six months for an original maturity of one year or more. It says the charge can reduce principal or recover previously paid interest. Automatically renewing CDs have a 10-day maturity grace period. The page also describes waivers on death or judicially determined legal incompetence.

Limits to check in your own agreement

The words “at least” make these minimum descriptions, not a verified exact charge. The bank states a simple-interest rate, but the full computation and any product-specific exceptions still require the applicable agreement and redemption quote. This summary does not endorse the page’s characterization of federal requirements or infer a rule for maturities below 32 days.
