Certificates of Deposit opened or renewed after September 1, 2015
Armed Forces Bank lists a loss of 60 days of interest for CD terms of seven–91 days and 182 days of interest for terms of 92–182 days. It then lists one year of lost interest for the tier printed as “183 - <60 Months,” and two years of lost interest for a 60-month term. The accompanying footnote applies this schedule to CDs or IRAs opened or renewed after September 1, 2015.
The third tier mixes units in its printed label, so its lower boundary should be confirmed rather than silently rewritten as an exact rule. The opening-or-renewal-date condition matters for older contracts. The public page also omits enough calculation detail that these durations do not establish a fully automated bank-specific dollar fee.
