7 Month Promotional CD
The First National Bank of Granbury states that its seven-month promotional CD has an early withdrawal penalty of one month of interest. It separately states that a withdrawal within the first six days incurs seven days of interest, using the rate in effect at withdrawal. Principal withdrawals are otherwise restricted before maturity. The account has a 10-day grace period and renews into a six-month CD with the terms then in effect.
These are the specific promotional account terms, not a bank-wide schedule. The first-six-days provision is reported separately; it is not converted into an assumed combined fee. The renewal changes the product term, so the initial seven-month offer should not determine a later renewal penalty.
